Like most things, it all depends on your age and whom you have seen.For me the best actor in Hollywood today is Kevin Spacey. He can and has played everything well.But is he best, it all depends on whom you ask.

Ya, it depends on the age you live in. But i have always liked Western movies and Clint Eastwood was one of my heroes from childhood. But he was much before my time. I am only 21 years old. I guess if i had to choose the contemperory actors, I would choose Christian Bale. Pity he hasnt won an oscar yet.

Bale was the batman in Batman Begins. He lost about 60 pounds for the movie 'The machinist'. I also liked him in the movie 'American psycho'. Actually the photo i have chosen for mylot is of Christian Bale. I really like him.

We may vary on our definition of "greatest" and I guess, we would qualify our notions of it in varrying reasons as well. But for me, I think Al Pacino is the greatest in terms of talent, Tom Cruise in terms of commercial success, and Jim Carrey in terms of versatility. I am not sure if I could think of more. But yeah, I cannot put them in the same plane since they are of different stuff. I guess, I'll have to leave them as I stated.

Ya, what you say is true. We can only classify them according to some criteria. Al Pachino is a damn good actor. Tom Cruise is perhaps one of the most commercially succesful even though he is not one of the better actors.

For me it's definitely Leonardo Di Caprio! He's my hero, he has everything, good looks, acting capabilities, clean image, appeared in soooo many films, different typecasts, versatile and a definite heart throb to all the ladies and guys too! He is my numero uno greatest Hollywood actor ever!
