I could kill my hubby sometimes when he moans about his dinner I feel like telling him to cook it himself but we would proberly all end up with food poisoning! Does your OH half moan and criticise or do they eat it and smile at you?

LOL both my husband and kids don't whine and complain about what I make for dinner BUT I also try to make things that I know they'll like AND if its something new, the rule is "try it with an open mind, if you truly dont like it you dont have to finish it"...

Brilliant attitude, my little boy has a habit of going yuck before it is even put in front of him LOL

I don't usually tell my hubby what I am cooking for dinner. He likes my cooking so that is not a problem. He does the cooking on the weekends. So, if there is anything that he likes that he hasn't had for awhile he will cook it then. It is usually the other way around here though, he likes his food way too spicy for me. So, instead of complaining about it I will just cook something else just for me.

I never tell mine what I am cooking for dinner, simply because if he asks and I tell him he will pull a face, and then I get really cross at him! The same with the kids too if they ask what they are having I tell them all the same now, I either say food, or you will find out when you get it. Or the other thing I say to my hubby is if you do not want it you can have bread and butter or nothing! Most of the time though, once it is in front of him he eats it and enjoys it.

My husband is juust greatful that he didn't have to cook it. If I have made something for my husband to eat it doesn't matter what it is he is happy to eat it and will do his best to make sure that I know he appreciates me going through the trouble of cooking it.
