CSI: Miami...Give me a freaking break!

There were so many things that bugged the crap out of me during CSI: Miami this week. I already hate David Caruso and Emily Procter. Really...I can't stand them. I pretty much only watch the show because I love the other 2 CSIs and I can't stop watching any of them. So, here are a few things that bugged me, in particular, about Tuesday's episode. One, give me a freaking break that H was able to kill every singe one of those, what...8 - 10 guys without any of them shooting off a round and even getting close to hitting him. Come on! He was able to aim, shoot the first guy. Aim again and hit the second guy. Take aim again and shoot the next several guys and none of them could shoot him in between aims and shoots? None even got a round off? Are you F'ing kidding me? Come the heck on! Ugh! Then, it is sometime in the either late morning to early noon when he is first taken to Rio. From Miami that is a, what...5 or 6 hour flight? So, say he arrives in Rio then sits around for an hour or two before this shoot out. Gets himself to the airport and waits maybe at the very least an hour to get back to Miami. But, it is still daylight and sunshiny after another 5 or 6 hour flight? WTF? What...did time just stand still in Miami while he was in Rio? It isn't like 10 PM. Let's just say he was carted off to Miami at noon. The flight was 5 hours. By the time he arrives in Rio, it is 5PM in Miami...not sure if there is a time difference in Rio and I don't care. He hangs out in Rio for no less than an hour. 6PM in Miami now. Gets on a flight after his shoot out with the people of Rio and heads back to Miami..and just to be completely unrealistic, he has absolutely no wait time at the Rio airport before he is in the air and on his way back to Miami so, it is still 6pm in Miami as he hits the air. 5 more hours later...by the time he lands in Miami is it 10 PM. Now, just to play the numbers game...let's say he was taken to Rio at like 10 AM in Miami. Some 11 hours later, it is still 9 PM in Miami. Shouldn't it be freaking dark? It isn't like it was first thing in the AM in Miami when he was taken away. They had started the case of the dead woman in the car and worked several hours on it by the time his ex sold him out to Rio and had him headed over there to face charges. Ugh! Come on! A little more believability would go a long way on this show that already annoys me! LOL! Did anyone else get annoyed by that crap?

Perhaps this is the way a script is thrown together in a hurry after a writer's strike. The shoot-out was totally unbelievable. For God's sakes he's not Superman! Has the man ever, EVER taken a bullet on that show? Everyone else has! I didn't notice the daylight thing because I've usually got one eye on the computer. But I did think it was stupid that he was "arrested" only to be taken to Rio to kill a bunch of people and then return right back to Miami as if nothing happened. Huh? Are we sure this script wasn't written by scabs while the writers were on strike? Caruso's character bugs me too. I hate the way he has this big last line like it is supposed to be so deep and profound. The glasses on, glasses off, glasses on... ugh! That drives me crazy! Those stupid glasses have become such a symbol of that show it is ridiculous! It's CSI - Crime Scene Investigation, not Coloured Spectacles Ignite. I never saw Caruso on NYPD Blue or anything else for that matter, so I don't know what his real personality is like, but I wonder what HE thinks of this ridiculous character. I think they plucked this guy out of the Bold and the Beautiful because he seems to think he is so important and smart. Can he even smile? Don't get me started on Calleigh. I'm just glad that she stopped wearing so much damn make-up like she did the first season. How unrealistic is it that a crime scene investigator is dressed like she is going out on a date? That's what made Sara Sidle of Las Vegas so believable.

LOL! I hear ya! My hubby questioned who was writing for CSI: Miami too. He can't believe that the writers have come back from strike. And, I did like the very real way that Sara Sidle dressed. Most of all, her sensible shoes. A girl can run in Sara's shoes. But, there as an episode where Calleigh was wearing shoes that were no less than 3 inches, and quite possibly closer to 5 inches. Seriously...we are supposed to believe that you can run in shoes that high? I can't. But, I also have a hard time even standing in anything bigger than 3 inches. I can walk and stand fine in 3 inch heels. Any bigger than that and my achilles tendon starts to hurt immediately upon standing. But, sure...she can run in 5 inch heels, jump across great distances and land perfectly fine! Glasses on, glasses off, glasses on, glasses off! LOL!

Yeah, I was going to mention the high-heeled boots these ladies wear when they are chasing criminals. Stella on CSI:NY also wears them. So unrealistic.

some of the story lines do seem to be a little bit silly. and some things may not add up.

LOL! Exactly! But, because I have invested these many years, since the start, I can't give up watching it now! LOL! I wish I could just quit watching that one but, I feel like I owe it to CSI: Miami to see it through till its series finale...however far into the future that is. I just hope for H and Caleigh to get the boot from the show someday! The sooner the better! LOL!

Well everyone knows the bad guys couldn't hit the broad side of a barn even with a lazer sight. And you are right about the time goofs. I guess we aren't supposed to notice those things. We are just the stupid viewers after all. I never could stomach David Caruso. I don't know why he is so popular. The man cannot act! I don't have any real issues with Emily Proctor though. I never miss CSI (Vegas) and CSI New York is ok most of the time (not always) but CSI Miami could tank for all I care. I wouldn't miss it.

Duh! LOL! I am just a moron after all! LOL! I have never been able to tolerate Caruso. And, I don't get his popularity either. Emily Proctor...I can't explain. She just rubs me the wrong way. I agree, Miami could tank and all it would do is bring a sigh of relief as I crossed another show off my list of shows to watch and waste my time with! LOL! I like NY and love Vegas. The only thing I don't like about NY is Stella...I think that is her character's name. She is the one with the big ugly curly hair. I can not stand that smug look and her acting sucks too! But, the rest of the cast gets a thumbs up from me. Sinese is great! And, I like the entire cast of Vegas. They really did a great job of casting them all. They have great chemistry and work well together.

I have watching it since the very first episode and, I don't "hate" the show but, I do dislike 2 of the characters. But, it is good for you that you haven't become disenchanted by it or by any of the characters yet! I wish I could say the same. I am sure I will continue to watch it until they cancel it someday but, until then, I will just continue to complain about Caleigh and H! LOL!
