Do you think digital music composition is legit?

Those who use computers and virtual studios accomplish some great sound. But in performance, alot is just hitting a play button on a sequencer. Alot of bands and DJ's use this. Do you think digital composition is a new art form or a sign of lack of talent?

I dont say 'lack of talent'. Because that when we talk about the composers they cant compose a piece of music by computer. They can do only arrange the music with the virual intruments or adding loops. If we could say a pice of music it should pleasent to hear. So that cant be done without a human being. So thats not the lack of talent.

I wouldn't say a lack of talent, because you still need to be talented to create descent music on a computer. I think its the society that we live in that is causing this to happen. I mean what music do people listen to in clubs? Dance/techno/pop/house all of them do not require any musical instruments as computers can produce perfect music for them to sing to...
There are still many talented musicians that people care less and less about...
