Computer programs

I have computer scrapbook programs that I am using and I am making my 4 kids baby books using them. Does anyone else like to use them? I have not been impressed with most of their backgrounds and I usually get my own on-line. A great place to find really good backrounds is wallpaper stores, actual wallpaper, not computer wallpapers. I find the image I like then save it to my computer and add it as the background in my scrapbook.

There are so many places to get free background papers, even entire kits once in a while. I haven't bought anything yet and my friend and I also swap too. I'm in the process of learning Photoshop Elements 6.0. I'm not getting very far as my computer time is really limited until I can move the computer upstairs. So right now I don't really do any digital scrapbooking because I'm just beginning, but I want to get into it. What a great idea with the actual wallpaper. Never thought about doing that. You could even open that up to photos you find in magazines, although you'd have to be carefully about plagerizing. But photos of flowers and things would be awesome.

I just started scrapbooking and haven't really looked into digital scarpbooking. I like print scrapbooking I have fun designing my pages and getting to show my friends the books I've made especially the one I made for my best friend's wedding.

I haven't really gotten too much into digital scrapbooking and was wondering what programs you use. I know you can buy (online and in stores) cds with backgrounds, embellishments and things like that. I wondered how easier they were to use and how do you print it out? I can see how actual wallpaper stores would have great backgrounds.
