It is not the breed that makes the dog vicious. It is how the dog is treated. If they are neglected, abused all comes into play. Once they hit their breaking point they will lash out but it's not cause of breed they are. They say rottis and pinchers are the worst for vicious dogs which is totally untrue. I have seen a poodle. The little miniature poodles lash out at a kid cause he threw rocks at it. I don't blame the dog at all.

I would have to say pitbulls, dobermen pinchers and german shepards from my own experiences. here in Tustin just not too long ago we had two separate pit bull attacks on a pet dog and her owner and on a lady just walking past minding her own business and shewas mauled and bitten in the hands and face requiring a lot of plastic surgery.

German Shepherds, unless mistreated into being agressive, are wonderful, gentle natured dogs. they aren't a breed designed for anything nasty. they are herding dogs. their good nature is why they are used as police dogs. because they aren't agressive, they can be controlled when restraining criminals, without doing severe damage. they catch them by the arm and hold them, until the police call them off when they reach the criminal. an agressive dog would be dangerous in such a situation.

Pit Bulls - pit bull disctrimination
Most people think of pit bulls whenever anyone mentions vicious dogs. However, people are just ignorant to pit bulls because of how they are portrayed by the media! Studies and tempermental tests have proven to show that a Golden Retriever will bite quicker than a Pit! However, ANY dog can be vicious despite its breed. It all comes down to how it is raised and treated!

those which are neglected or abused by the owners in such a way to encourage agression. it's nothing to do with breed, and everything to do with irresponsible or cruel owners.

There's no such thing as a vicious dog breed. Any dogs that are vicious are made that way by their clueless owners who should never have the right to own a dog at all.
