Restoring Page Rank?

Google made a decision to punish those who wrote paid blog posts with links for advertisers. They removed all page rank from such bloggers, making them less attractive to the advertisers. Have any of you who lost your page rank found any way to restore your rank and or found some other way to receive the opportunities to write for money?

My blog dropped from PR 3 to 0 when I started doing some paid posts.

I know the feeling all too well! I hardly receive any opportunities now.

Well, I have not written any paid blog posts and have not lost page rank, so I won't know..
