I had a bread machine, but didn't care for the quality of the bread. So, I would do the bread up to the point before it bakes and take it out of the machine and bake it in the oven.

I have had a few. Some work better than others. But,nothing is as good as by hand for sure.

No, but I wish I did. We always used the plain old white Pillsbury mixes, but our stores have quit carrying them. I don't like the other mixes they carry as they make such a heavy bread. I realize a homemade bread wouldn't be all that hard to do, if only I had a great recipe. Hopefully someone will give us one.

The women above your response gave some really nice ones. You can do it in a bread machine, if you don't have the stregth or time to do by hand. I didn't know that Pillsbury made bread mixes. If you look them up on the internet, and aske them where you can buy their product, they will respond, and most likely send you some cupons too.

I just got a breadmake for christmas - it's brilliant. we have fresh bread every morning, I'm even starting to do different types fro the recipe book that came with it, brioche tonight with beef and veg pie and gravy, scrummy.
Let me know any fantastic recipes and I will let you know which my favourites are when I discover them.

If you use your book that came from the bread machine you can vary on them once you make a few of the recipes from it. The order seems to be everything and you are only limited by your imagination. Good Luck!!
