do you like management subjects? which management subject is good to do?

i am looking forward to do management studies...i like management subjects a lot..it really depends on the preference of the person who is doing the management course....if a person wants to go into a particular field and work in a particular designation,he/she should foresee that the option chosen and the post he/she may be placed matches and they achieve their aim..so choosing the subject depends upon the individual...i prefer marketing or hr..marketing because i have done my graduation in marketing..it would be nice if i could explore things more in marketing and in future i may be placed as a sales executive,marketing executive....so i would choose marketing as my option..hr would be because recently i have developed an interest over the subject...selection process,communicating with people,getting to know more about people is really interesting..so hr will also be a good option for me..so the individuals should decide on the basis of their interest,foresee the future and decide on the subject..

I do not know what your basic degree was. Mine is Engineering.I always felt Management is something you learn along in your life. One could say that for any subject if you had been a good student. But then the market attaches great value to University degrees esp., in Management. Wnen we look at it, of the many graduates who come out of school, we see very few are employable in that they wouldn't have learnt many of the skills that one must have for putting their collegiate learning to practical use. In such cases a followup study like management helps. Otherwise for a good Engg graduate(say) IMO his professional life must teach better management skills. Preferably, if he/she wants h/she can pick up the 'area' of his/her interest once h/she has had some expetrience with a profession.Then h/she can benefit from a Management Education. Since I feel that specializations like Operaatios Management- an extension of good Scientific Principles applied to life after a good Engg background,Marketing - more a talent based one than to be taught at a University; as also for HR I feel the only thing that is different from Engg thinking, and one that would help an Engineer would be Financial Management. Thus I would conside/recommend FM as a good cpmplemntary Management subject.

Hey even i like management subjects and i will be going to do it in next few months...n yeah i like it because its a mixture of those things which we face in day to day life like finance and marketing.....both are very interesting..n about the university for management...i cant say much because as there are so many university...

I really like management subjects. I am actually doing my degree in general management. It is very interesting and demanding worldwide. I would advise you to opt for general management because it comprises of all types of management and equips you better.
