I watercolor and I do a rare art called silhouetting. I use a scissor, and I cut out pets, people, landscapes, and so forth freehand. It's rare, and unique. I love detail, so in all my art works, I always do alot of that.

I like the way that you framed the picture. Very nice. I checked out your other images, too. I really like the baby one and the picture of the little guy on the beach.
I have a photographer friend and she sells quite a bit of her work. She started by having a showing at her local library (they are often very wiling to let local artissts display their work). Maybe you could try that...

I paint still life and also cartooning, and from time to time, I will sit in some mall and sketch people and make a little money that way! Last week I sold one of my paintings to a church. I could become a great artist but I lack motivation and get board with it and don't want to do it! I only do my art when I need a little money, other then that, if I was rich, I probably wouldn't ever paint, draw,or sketch again!!!!! I think I hate it!!!! My mom gets mad at me when I don't do anything with my art tallent, she's always saying: All that tallent going to waste!

More of a designer than artistic, some would argue there's no difference, to me there is a big difference!

I am painfully artistic. I can't go a day without doing art unless I'm deathly ill. Even when I was in the hospital I took a sock monkey I made with me to take my mind off the pain I was in. I had to send it home after two days though, because the nurses were in love with it and it's all they wanted to talk about. One day I realized that my grandmother made and sold crafts, my mom did a lot of crafts like crochet and sewing and I was just carrying on the family legacy. Both my daughters caught the art bug. One just got a B.A. in Art & Design and the other one is a photographer and painter.
Now if only one of us would major in marketing so we could do something with all this talent. Although art is it's own reward, even if you never make a penny at it.
