I really believe this is coming, because the amount of clean, drinkable water on the planet seems to be diminishing. Historically, most villages and cities have sprung up near water sources. Water is the one thing that we can't survive without for more than 72 hours. We can't live without it, we can't grow crops without it, we can't operate businesses without it. And it's dwindling. So what do you think?

Many countries are building desalinization plants. My country has 2 and we are building 2 more. Saudi Arabia has many plant to provide all the water they need. Almost all water can be purified and reused. Sewage water is treated and used for growing crops. On the space shuttle the astronauts urine was treated and re drank. We just have to be inventive to find ways to supply us with the water we need.
