I would like to know what other main dishes families have during the Holiday Season. My mom made Duck once instead of Turkey. Although where I am from Pig is the main dish. Pork Luau is our main dish, with eggrolls etc.
Tell me what your family traditions are...Smile

We always have turkey for Thanksgiving. I don't remember a year when we didn't have turkey.

My family pretty much always has turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. I don't know if we've ever had anything different. I've never had duck before. I've heard it's really greasy.

I have made alot of things. Hens, turkey, ham, and even roast beef. I make what everyone wants. Did you know that the Pilgrams had lobster for thanksgiving?

Definitely turkey. I've never had duck, so I don't know which one I would prefer. I would try it though, because I am not too keen on eating turkey- I always find that it's too dry for my tastes.
