Who's the one that decides to eat in a restaurant in your family? Mom or Dad

The reason why I asked because in my case and most people that I know of, it's the dad who decides to eat outside. My professor in marketing however thinks otherwise, he was not happy with our project and decides to fail us. 
Guys, is it really the mom who mostly decides where to eat? I know that they're the ones who cooks, but my mom prefers to cook instead of eating outside. My dad would just tell her not to cook for dinner and we would then eat at a restaurant.

Its my mom who mainly decides whether to eat at home or out.my mom is not happy with my dads decisions to eat.my mom mostly prefers eating food at home.when there is no food at home then we eat in a restaurant.

I see, I guess my family and some of my friends are just a bit special? Haha... because of our lifestyle I really tend to think that it's the dad who makes this decision.

I hate making those kinds of decisions. Unless it is restaurant that I have heard a lot about by other people and I am curious about, then I might say let's go eat at this restaurant I heard about, but 90% of the time it is my wife who decides. I don't like making those kinds of decisions.
