They are a great way to keep in touch with friends and buddies, aren't they. The most significant feature of them is that they will reach the destination 99.99% time, even if they reach there the other day. They can bring a smile to your buddies face and we can say a hell lot of things through it. What do you make of it as a socializing tool.

I only ever use sms/texting, I never make a phone call unless I have to and so in a way although it is a great thing it has stopped me making as many phone calls as I should. But all I ever use my mobile for is texting and I always get 300 texts free every month so it does not cost me much at all to keep the thing running.

Well if you are in India, you can sent unlimited messages for free, but that's through the net. Try out 160by2 and "smsgupshup". Thanks for the response.

I too love sms texting. There are many times when I can't make a voice call and sending a text message is great. Just sending a little message to that special someone in your life is a way to brighten someone's day.
