I've finally decided...

Hey all -- I've finally decided at which amount I'd like to set my payout for MyLot. I answered a few questions about people's goals, and what people set their payout too and why, and it got me thinking about my own goals for MyLot. I was going to try to go for at least $15 each month here and I think that's a good goal and very achievable. I decided to set my payout at $25. If I don't make my $15 in the one month, I still have the whole other month to make my goal. By that time I should be over $25. If not, at least I know I will get paid the next month and I will ahve to try harder after that.
Of course, sometimes things come up where you cannot devote as much time to online hobbies and activities because you are busy with family, working more hours, or whatever other reasons. That's understandable, but I think my goal is fair for myself. It's not set too high, which is also good.
How about you? Do you have any goals for MyLot each month? What do you have your payout set to and why?

Well, I have considered switching my payout amount to $25 on here again as I once had it, but sometimes my time is limited on how often I can be in here. So I am afraid if it took me a while I would get discouraged and not want to try as hard. Some months I am not in here much and others quite a bit so sometimes it has taken me a while to reach even the $10 payout.
Good Luck reaching your goal, and hope you have Fun in the mean time until you do. This continues to be a Great place to be, and I for one, am Glad I am here.

I think that I am going to try and reach thirty dollars a month on this website because I really think that it is possible and I don't think that I will have to work extremely hard to get it eitehr...I think that if i just work a few hours a day on here and try and post as much as i can while i m on here that will work for me and hopefully I will make payout every month taht I try...so that is my goal for this thing...

When I first started on MyLot, I posted a few answers and didn't do too much on the site. I got busy with other programs and kind of forgot about it. Now I have not only gotten more active, but have gotten excited about setting goals as well.
Instead of just sitting and answering tons of questions one right after another, I maybe go and do a survey and come back. That way I am fresh and ready to make new responses. My goal isn't as high as yours, but if I could make at least $10 per month, that would make me happy. Good luck!

I have mine set at 10.00 but I don't really set goals for my free money. I didn't make payout last month, I missed by 30 cents or so...for this month I might boost to 25.00 to see what happens.
I don't really set goals though, I just go with the flow!

i to thought of having the minimum payout as 25$ when i joined mylot.but now only i am aware it is how much difficult to make 10$ here in mylot.they dont give us a constant pay rate.i responded to 110 discussions all in a broadly manner but still i was credited only with 0.69$.i was fed up that day....

I have set my target at 10$ per month at the moment. Because i am new here on mylot and i am checking thing how it will go for me.
So i have only 20 days in this month so i cannot achieve this goal of 10$ this month. So hopefully will achieve in the end of May.

i have mine set at 10.00 I made 32.00 for march, so I am happy, and I don't have to spend it as my son says, I can always leave it in my paypal account until I have decided what I want to do with it.

That's a good goal you got there. I don't make a goal I just make sure I get to respond to more discussions when I am online. I am a very busy person and I don't have much time to do the goal thing. I just do my best on it. Whatever I can reach would be fine. I am about to get my 2nd payment from mylot and I am quite happy with that.

I set my MyLot payout at $25. That is because $20 is the minimum to download to a bank in Canada. I do not have an exact goal, because goals are sometimes unattainable. I am now trying to make it more than 50 cents a day, I used to say I wanted to make one dollar a day. I want to post two discussions a day, and answer twenty discussions, but now I have decided not to work on Sunday, so now I have to post four discussions a day and do forty discussions. But nothing will work. I have other things to do, and I know that whereas I barely made the minimum payment a month, the way I am going, it will take three months to get to twenty-five dollars.

I think people set their goals in myLot according to how much they can usually achieve, which usually depends on the time they have to spend here and the rate at which they can post. For me, I have set it at $10 since day one, and I have not tampered with that. That's probably the lowest setting available, and for me, it is a reasonable level since I only spend like 2 hours a day posting and reading other people's post. I'm almost a year here, and I can probably reach my third payout by end of this month, so that's a reasonable pace for me to strive for.

Well, in the beginning, I set it to $10, and then when I got close to that, I upped it to $25, and was planning to up it again when I got close to that as well. I changed my mind, because we're having some really rough times here at home, trying to pay bills and get caught up and maybe even ahead, so I lowered it back down to $10. I know I can reach that in a month, and then some. In fact, I made it to a few cents under $15. I plan to try to make it higher though, but am also doing a lot of other things online to gain some extra cash as well. I'm hoping to bring in at least $100 this month, and so far have made $40, but they are all pending, I'm hoping they start showing up soon.

Well considering I havent made 30 cents in the 10 months I've been here I don't give the payout much thought.
Actually, havent even attempted to set up a paypal account.
Don't know enough about the payment system here(or the site in general) to even worry about a payout.

I just set my amount to $10 and I like to challenge myself each time. I think that $50 payout is perfectly fine as well and I do believe that it's certainly not possible to reach that amount with hard work, dedication and sincerity in replying to discussions or posting new ones.
By the way, I love mylot and I think the concept of putting different payouts is perfectly cool and certainly makes the program looks user-friendly to me.

I do not set any goals, I can never stick to them if I set them as I cannot always gaurantee when I can get on the computer. My payout is set to $10 per month, although I am considering setting it higher and then maybe just save it up for christmas, then that way I would not be able to touch it until I reach that amount! I think I set it to the low amount so that I could see what it felt like to get it for the first time!!

I think I will leave mine as it is at $10 because I know I can do that each month and if I earn more than that it will seem like a bonus.
I do see the logic of your $25 goal though, you will get a nice big payment if you didn't quite reach your goal the month before. I'm sure it will be quite achievable for you most months.

$25 sounds like a good goal, that's what mine is. $10 is a little low, and you can't take it out at most ATMs. The higher you're comfortable setting it the better, because I think PayPal takes out a flat fee of about $1 no matter what amount your payout is.
