kyaaa! i am so tired and sleepy! we went to Hundred Islands at Pangasinan yesterday and i just got back home this morning. Hundred Islands is one of the major tourist's spot here in the Philippines and it is a national heritage popular not only to Filipinos but also to a lot of foreigners as well. it was our first time to go there, even one of our officemates who is from Pangasinan, it was also her first time there! its ironically funny since her house is just nearby and yet, she hasn't been there even once! she actually said that after 30 years, she finally went to see their province's great pride. we all had fun island hopping and swimming there. the place is sooo beautiful! and even if there's a lot of boat and people and some islands are developed, the place still seems to be "virgin". ^__^;; not yet abused. well i hope it won't be abused coz its really beautiful and it seems that everyday, there are people going there. if you're interested to see our pictures, go here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v607/babskie/hundred%20islands/ if you want to see some videos, just ask me and i'll give you the link. so how about you guys, when was your last travel and where did you go? did you have fun? what did you do there?

This is a good topic for me right now as I just got home a few hours ago from a two week visit with my daughter and her family. They live 300 miles away and we don't get to visit as often as we would like. We didn't really do much but talk, laugh, talk more and laugh even more. The weather was nice most of the time while there but did have some rain and chilly some days but that didn't matter at all. The fist week there it was just my daughter, my grandson and myself and this past week my son in law come home for a week, he is working out of state right now. Our plans right now are maybe for me to go back for another visit this next month. My trip was not as beautiful as yours but I think I probably had as much fun as you did. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us.

Wow.. that looks nice and beautiful.. Can u do diving there?? LOL ^_^ YUp, i hope that nice and quiet place wun be over commercialised yet and cause everything to change, spoiling the natural beauty there.. hehe.. there are parts where you can do diving. although i didn't see tourists that went diving when we were there. but i think you can go diving there as long as you bring your own equipment because the management of the place don't have that kind of equipment. they only have goggles and snorkels. i'd love to go to Thailand too! that's where the floating market is right? it would be fun to go "shopping" for fruits there. its cheap to go to Hundred Islands kun. the only expensive thing is the plane fare.

well, in between the islands, there isn't really a place for diving. but if you go farther away towards the China Sea (because Hundred Islands faces China Sea) then you can go diving there!

Maybe they only allow diving on the surface on the water.. hehe ^_^ If the water is very clear, there isn't really a need to dive deep down.. LOL ^_^ YUp, floating market is in thailand and yes, the fruits there are really very very cheap but the weather there is very hot too.. When it rains, almost everywhere will have floods too.. hehe

at least you've been there! i've studied college in Iloilo for four years and Boracay was just hours away but i wasn't able to go there! it was really an opportunity wasted. i'm still hoping i can go there someday although i love the beaches in Bohol more than the beach of Boracay.

My last travel was when I came to England. It was 18 hours on the plane with 5 hours waiting at the Abudhabi for the final flight. I was too scared to be flying for that long. I kept on praying that God will safely guide us to our destination. I may not want to travel that far again but I have to visit my family after a couple of years maybe. Anyway, back in the Philippines before coming to England, I was able to visit Coron, Palawan. It is one of the best diving sites and being able to see it, I find myself lucky. It was not really my destination but the boat had to stop over in the island to drop and load passengers.

Well, England is beautiful when it comes to infrastructures, economy wise and the likes. But during the cold weather I miss the Philippines. On my way here I had a 5-hour stop-over in Abu Dhabi where I saw our kababayans cleaning their CR.

We just got back from Bribie Island! We were there for 3 days and we did nothing but sleep, read, relax and eat! We also had fish and chips by the sea and we also went for a couple of walks along the beach and rode our bikes along the bike tracks there. My fiance's aunty lives there so ocassionally she goes and stays with her friend and lets us stay in her house. It is a very beautiful island and the air is fresh and clean, the sky is bright blue and there's no pollution. As we were driving back to Brisbane this afternoon I could actually smell the pollution in the air. I would love to live on an island. In fact-I could move to Bribie Island tomorrow! I'm already looking forward to my next holiday but it's back to work for me tomorrow!

Where is Bribie Island? is that in Australia? ^__^;; but it sounded like an awesome place. i like beaches too with white sand, fresh air and clear blue sky. just a perfect sight for a great summer fun. i know what you mean about wanting to live in a place as pure like that compared with a polluted one.

I went to Hawaii for four days to my best friends wedding in January and even though it was a quick trip, I had fun seeing her again since it had been almost 5 years since I last saw her. She looked beautiful on her day :)

Ohhhh. I also just came home from a weeklong vacation. I arrived two days ago. We went to Cebu, the Queen City of the South. hehe. We had a convention - school related. It was so much fun though I was on a limited budget. We had visited the famous spots, like the Magellan's Cross, Sto. Nino, Lapu-Lapu, Fort San Pedro, Taoist Temple, etc... There were a lot of sites we visited. I also enjoyed mall hopping, hehe, since there aren't much malls here in my hometown. Not to mention that during the convention, we stayed at a hotel. It was such a great experience. I'd like to share some pictures, but I haven't uploaded them yet to my computer.

I have been to some local places in the past days. Two are office related outings con familiarization and one a personal one. We see to it that we go around the place every summer to places we havent been to. I have travelled almost 80 to 90 of our country and hope to travel it in the next 2 years, the whole of our country. I like the people, the beaches, the sceneries. From work and stay here in the city, even if we came from the province we need to really go out and recharge. We are planning to go out of town some 200 kms. from the city for another sortie. Its nice travelling although quite tiring and quite expensive.

my last travel wat to los vegas during new years. even though i am not old enough to do the good things like drink and do the slots and stuff i still had a great time there. everything there is larger than life and is way better than disneyland i would say. so they should start calling vegas the happiest place on earth instead of loss vegas and junk like that. I really liked all of the shows they offered and my hotel accommodation's were extremely awesome. In fact I stayed at the monte carlo. We all know how it caught on fire. I was staying there about 3 weeks before that happened.

hi alan! ltmoon called Las Vegas as Lost Wages. and it just made me laughed and so i gave him the best response. i do believe that its is awesome there even though i haven't been there. my mother has been there and she only got praises for the place even though she also didn't play the casino or drink in an expensive bar. looking at the place just made her enjoy it.

Last place I went with my boyfriend was to Cyprus, Ayia Napa, in September 07. It was lots of fun and we are going again this September, but for 2 weeks rather then 1. We was self catering, so we ate out a lot, went into the town area, spent time around the pool, discovered the beaches near by and took lots of pictures. This year we are going to some tours hopefully a bit further and hire a bike for the duration of our stay to go even further for meals etc (and work off some of the calories lol)

My last travel out of the country was in 2006. We went to Brunei and stayed at The Empire Hotel. It was a class tour actually. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. It's my second time to stay there. The hotel is great. Really. It was fun cos I was with my friends. And my last local travel was last year in Cebu. I didn't get to really have a tour there but I'd love to go back.

it depends on you to make some fun even if it were an official travel. i sometimes go on an official travel and i just make the most out of it by having fun with the people i'm with. sometimes we'd drink or sometimes we'd just eat out and that's already fun for us. even just taking pictures of us and making poses is already having fun.
