Listening to music often makes me want to draw scenes with similar themes or emotions to the songs. Looking at other artists' work can be very inspiring. Sometimes seeing something beautiful in nature will give me an idea. And of course sometimes ideas hit me out of the blue. What are your main sources of inspiration for drawing? What do they help you with and why?

I know what you mean, in the right mood inspiration can come from anywhere. Drawing is great way for me to escape from stress, too.

When I remember drawing of famous artist(like De Vinci), I start to draw something in the same style but from my head. and I never draw out of the head, while I draw ideas come to me so what I had in mind is totaly different from what came out. And sometimes pictures of landscapes that I think will look good on a drawing paper inspire me.
