Did you enjoy the film called "The Ruins"?

I read the novel called "The Ruins" and found it fantastic. I felt the charactarization was solid, and the story was wonderfully told. Yet yesterday I viewed the film, and felt that is was made a dissaster. I was awful to say the least. The acting was directed poorly, and the story left much wanting. It was absolutly nothing like the novel, and that left me highly dissapointed... Have you seen this poorly made film? and what was your point of view in comparison to the novel?
