I really need an answer..
For me a relationship is called virtual when it's online, but when the two start dating and go out together even from time to time it starts changing.
And when the two live in different cities or countries then it's called a long distance relationship it is not a virtual one anymore...
Please guys correct me if I'm wrong.
Can you call a relationship where the two had met in real life -even when they first met online- and get to know each others' friends and families a virtual relationship???
Thanks in advance...

To me virtual relationship is when you meet online and seperate on line:) It means - you never see the person in rela life. You and other person have some kind of dream person to communicate with. We idealize other persons - we want them to be better, close to our dream. Virtual is also when you talk with computer programm - there is not even a real person on other side.

Thanks dream2night :).. I like your nick name...
I agree with you but for some reason some people may disagree with us.. for them as long as you don't live together or spend at least 24 hours together it is virtual :s
Thanks a lot for your response...

People see relationship with different perceptions. You are only giving names to these relationships. People meet on internet but live in different cities and countries. They know each other by what they tell about them. But once they meet face to face and start understanding each other then only relationship matures between them. It may reach its logical conclusion or it may not. You may call it virtual relationship turning in to real relationship.

Exactly, so when you meet the person in real life it starts turning into a real thing.. it's not virtual anymore...
Thanks for your response.

Hello, Morning Dew.
For me, a virtual friend is someone who you only know through online interaction. Be it from any game, or be it from a chat, from something... As long as you have never met the person face-to-face, then it is a virtual relationship. Even by phone, I still don't consider it a true relationship. People can fake their identities and who they are, when they are online.
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

Same here, i do believe the relationship is virtual if it stays online. Most of my friends got lots of virtual relationships in which they fill fulfilled even though they haven't meet them personally. Right now there were people who were saying that they were making love virtually too weird to believe in, but it is happening right now.

So it becomes real when you meet in real life even if the two live in different cities/countries..
