Has anyone knowingly gone into a high risk pregnancy how was it?
My first daughter everything was fine until 32 weeks when I developed pre eclampsia, she was induced on her due date before things got worse. My second daughter I was ill right from the start and was finally diagnosed with a life term kidney condition. We are planning another child after a lot of discussions with my partner and my consultant although it will not be for a couple of years to gain a better control over my kidney condition.
We know there are chances baby will be small (however my second daughter was supposed to be but was 8lb2oz at 38 weeks) we know there is chance of early premature birth although hopefully 36 weeks will be reached. The biggest risk is of the placenta failing to work, now I will have a scan every week to keep an eye on this and everything else and I will be well looked after possibly more so than if there was nothing wrong.
Im just curios if anyone else knowingly entered a high risk pregnancy and what the outcome was? I know it will be hard hence waiting until both girls are at school so I can rest as much as possible but it will also be worth it 100% and im looking forward to increasing our family again.

Woow ! I really admire you! I bet you are the best mother ever considering the fact that you put yourself at risk because you really wanted a child. I wish you the best of luck with your 3rd child!

Thank you, my consultant thinks we will manage to get through it ok it will just have its hurdles im lucky in having a supportive partner who is willing to be there every step of the way, id not be so confident doing it alone.
