Fruits are definately good for you, but I don't eat them every single day. However, I eat a good selection of vegetables so I think my diet has a reasonable variety of frash stuff in it. I ensure that the kids have fruit daily by providing it for snacks.
I eat lots more fruit when it is fresh and in season as we have fruit trees and I hate to see it go to waste. I cooke lots of pies, crumbles and cakes with it, and preserve it for the colder months. One of the most lovely things I have just now is a storeroom full of figs in syrup. Yum!

I would eat more fruit, but there is rarely fruit in the house that I like. We usually have apples etc, where I like berries. I do drink a lot of fruit juice though.

Hi deltagodam, I always try to take a certain amount of fruits everyday for the sake of health even though if I were to have my domestic or foreign vacation. As far as I know to take vegetable is far much better than to take fruits as the former is more fibers and less sugar. So other than fruits I do like to take more green leafy vegetable which is believed to be rich in calcium.

I seldom eat fruits...but still i eat vegetables everyday!
I am also wondering can vegetables replace fruits in daily intake?
Because in the "food pyramid" fruits and veges are in the same catergory!!!

I try to eat fruit every day as it is part of a healthy balanced diet. Fruits are a great source of vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin C which we need to fight off infections particularly in this season. I try to make fruit interesting, instead of just eating an apple, I will chop it up, add a dollop of natural yogurt and a handful of dried fruit such as apricots or currants. Much more exciting.
