Which one do you think is the best anti-virus software present?
I have used most of the products from the heavyweights of the security market like AVK 2008, AntiVir, Avast!, Trend Micro, Symantec, AVG, BitDefender, Kaspersky and I am curently using AVG free.
Though I know that it is not the best one but still more often then not it satisfies my needs and its free!
Which one do you like or use?

Hi coolmailraj, I too shy away from heavy weight AV though I can't deny their effectiveness. I have installed Bitdefender 10 free edition, AVG and Avast in each of my multi boot windows combined with the free PCtools firewall, and so far i haven't had any virus infestation.

I have used a lot of antiviruses ....the worst one was Norton Antivirus because biruses used to make it disable and then it also used to give problem while uninstalling....currently i have AVG free adition installed on my PC...its free to download from download.com....and can even be upgraded too....

NOD32 for me is the best antivirus. I've tried many anti-virus before. i've used Norton, AVG, Mcafee PC-cillin etc. but one proves to be most effective NOD32 Smart Security. nod32 really cleans my infected files and protects my pc from viruses, trojans and other malicious programs. it also has a great firewall. i really recommend this antivirus program.
