My favorite breed of dog is the Jack Russell Terrier. I've had dogs all my life and Jacks are by far the smartest most loyal breed of dog I've ever known. n the 8 years of having Jacks I am the one who was trained. Not the Jacks being trained by me.

I love all kinds of dogs, it is hard for me to pick one specific breed. I must say that, for the most part, I prefer the bigger dogs over the little ones. But, I do love Boston Terriers and French Bulldogs. I think those are the only two little dogs that I like. I have two dogs, a vizsla mix and a german shephard mix. I love both of them very much and would not trade them for the world.

I've always liked Border Collies for their striking appearances. And their eyes that hold so much wisdom. They are incredibly intelligent dogs. I plant to get at least two of them before I'm 40, so I've got about twenty years. Right now, we own three dogs that are Boxaroos. I love this breed. They are a mixture of Boxer/Labrador/Poodle. And they have pretty awesome personalities.

Favorite breed?? that's a hard question to ask - I currently have a Pit Bull, and in all honesty, my dog is the sweetest, cuddliest, loviest dog you could ever meet. He loves to snuggle, and is always giving "kisses" to anybody he meets. So its hard for me to not love pit bulls as a whole - I feel a deep sadness for people who are misled by all of the negative attention that is given to pit bulls - as a breed, they are very intellectual, loving creatures, and it is not their fault that people mistreat and abuse them, and turn them into things that they are not.
On the flipside, I've always really wanted a Weimeraner. But right now, I simply don't have the yardspace to accomodate one!

I've had many different breeds of dogs. One of the first dogs that I had was just a heinz 57. He was probably my favorite dog just because he was the first dog that was "mine" as a child. The first indoor dog we had was a pekingese, which was a great dog. She was very smart, loyal, and easy to train. When she passed away we got a maltese terrier. She was an older dog when we got her, so the house breaking and obedience was already there. Some of the other outside dogs that I've had are hounds and beagles. Beagles are great as outside or indoor dogs. Currently we have a jack russell and an english bulldog in the house, and another heinz outside. I love all dogs as long as they aren't hostile towards people. :)
