Are You Polite To Starngers In Public?

I am always polite say if im out and have the pram and someone holds the door for me I always say thankyou I ge really annoyed when people cant give the same politeness back when I do it for others. Manners cost nothing but mean everything.

Manners cost nothing but mean everything,I love that very much! I'm always polite to other strangers in public places,I think my politeness will surely get rewarded.

i am always polite and say thank you to strangers. but there are a few times, when i'm having a bad day, i try to shy away from people. but i'm not impolite or rude.

I am always polite and say please and thank you and it is always good to hear it from my grown children and most of the time from my grand children, as well. I think that nice manners are important and you don't have to not be polite just because someone else isn't. I even say "bless you" when someone sneezes!!

well they say that 'respect begets respect', so even if i'm in a very bad mood, i try to be respectful towards strangers who have helped me in some way. in my part, i try to help people in small ways that well-intentioned strangers can, and if they say 'thanks', then i'd say 'you're welcome'. I'm generally nice and helpful but still wary towards strangers, but i treat them with respect unless they do something rude or inappropriate.
