about where you work right now, what would you change? For many of us, we might be unsatisfied with what we do, or where we work, etc. but at the same time continue this routine sometimes until the day we're able to retire just because we are afraid to go try something else. Or maybe you just are too comfortable where you are at, and not wanting to take the time to find something better.
With the Economy getting as Bad as it is here in the US, it could even be some are just lucky to be Employed where they are, and are counting their blessings to be employed even if it is in a job or field, you do not care for. Actually I have been there before a couple of times. Maybe not so much now, but I have in the past in other areas I have lived in.
But overall, I am sure even if you are Happy with where you are working at, there are things you would change if you could about your job to help make it a better place to be. I know where I work for example there are a couple of things I would change to make it a better place to be, but know it would take some time to get them all done.
One of them would be a Pay Raise. Look around and see what the places around you are paying for the same time of work, and try to match them more, instead of starting out and even maxing out at less than what these other places even start out at. Where I work is at the LOW pay scale for sure and that is why they keep some of the people they do knowing a lot of them could never work elsewhere. If they did a Drug screening where I am at, there is only about maybe 6 people who could legally pass it if that.
Another one of them would be focus more on attendance. We have people that are always late (like everyday), or seem to almost miss at least one weekend day a week. They just seem to not care and have No work ethic, and then complain about having NO money to do anything with, and then wonder why, or are always borrowing from others or expecting someone to feel Sorry for them, and hand them handouts.
I am sure there are more but these are the main ones that bother me where I work. What might some of yours be?

I don't think there is much I would change about my job to be quite honest. I work for a software development company and really enjoy my job. I have a cool boss and lovely colleagues. I am paid well for what I do and we get very decent payrises and bonuses. We get free tea, coffee, etc (which is quite normal in most companies) but we also get free soft drinks (like Coke and Diet Coke), fruit, cereals and biscuits. We work flexi-time and our boss is pretty cool about people working from home for the day if they need to be in for a delivery or utility work rather than booking a day off. We work a 37.5 hour week and can listen to music all day on our headphones whilst we work. I'm really struggling here to think of something that could be changed. We even have a football table in the office for having a quick few games when people want to relax or have a laugh, a separate kitchen equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher too...
I guess the one thing I might change about some of my colleagues is that a couple of them are a bit irresponsible and have managed to lose office keys which is a pain because I have to key lending my set out which I am not happy about in case they end up losing my keys too. They don't seem to take it very seriously that it's a security risk if keys go astray and people find them and get into the office!
