anyone out there got any good receipes for squid?
I have bought some frozen squid for the first time and have not got a lot of receipes for using it. I did try a salade of cooked squid in a tomato, galic, ginger and lime dressing. It was very good

you can put them into a tempura batter, I have had this is an Italian restaurant but have never tried it at home. This is the next one to try

That brings me back! When I was invited back to my girlfriend's place and she cooked me something special for me! I didn't realize at the time it was squid and when I tasted it, ewwww tasted of rubber, sorry but I think I hurt her feelings I couldn't eat it. It was actually bolognaise, but instead of instead of mince it was squid with bolognaise sauce, mushrooms and rice, maybe that's an idea but if you are cooking I'll give it a miss thanks. Put me off squid for life!

it goes rubbery when you over cook it. It cooks very quickly depending on the size

You could try squid tempura; they usually have tempura batter mix in the baking aisle at grocery stores. xD
Or look up some recipes on the Food network website. :]
