We have been apart for 10 years in that time he went to prison straightened up his life and wanted to put the family back together. Eveything looks good and we have been spending time together but the push is on for more. Do I follow my heart or listen to my mind??

If you love this person, then maybe you can give it a chance. But remember that people don't change easily. It would take time, and focus to make a change. But if he is really up to it, the person can change. If he was just saying it and not really meaning what he says, then, whatever change he shows for now would only be superficial. The real thing will surface eventually.

hey, I personally don't believe in second chances because if he did it one time what makes you think he is not gonna do it again, That's my point of view, I understand that out of 100% maybe 1% would really change but still I wouldn't go back, but I can tell you this, follow your heart if that's what makes you happy, if you really think he deserve another chance then go for it, Good luck and take care.

Hi Purplelaurii, It is very hard to advice on individual cases, especially when you don't know the people involved. I know that many people do change, but not everyone. Some try but seem to be unable to change. You will have to trust your own feelings on this one. Blessings.

I believe it is more that also varies from person for person because you have those who want to change and do not succeed and those who know they have to change more not change
