i wish i was taking class dance. i would like to learn different moves for different kinds of song. i love to dance. sometimes i dance on my own with different kinds of music on the background. i dance by following the music beat. i am actually pretty good own my own even if i generate different weird moves on my own. i want to improve my skills by taking dance classes. i have not the time or the money to spend it on dance classes right now. maybe some other time because i have other priorities.

I dance on my own too. I would like to take dance classes but in my city there aren't hip hop dance classes or breakdance, so i dance at home. Yes it happens to me too, when I generate some really funny moves :))). Mostly I look on youtube for dances to have something to inspire me.

I love to dance and am a dancer by nature. I am doing to study musical threatre in my university and I have to dance classes for that so I am really happy. I think I have to take ballet and jazz and some other type. I really like hip hop because I grew up listening to that music. I wish I could breakdance but I think I'll probably break my head. But who knows maybe one of these days I might surprise myself and start breakdancing out of nowhere. Oh and welcome to mylot and hope you enjoy it.

I have had extensive dance training in ballet (with pointe), jazz, tap, modern, and lyrical, as well as some lessons in international dance forms and improvisation here and there. I still stay in practice as I am planning on going professional. I have started my own dance company which is still in its start-up phase. It is pointe, lyrical, modern, etc. fused together. It may wind up having some German folk dancing influences since the story begins in Germany... the company's works are all based on the German influence in New Orleans during he 19th Century - which is part of my family lineage. Since a lot of people have German ancestry and love New Orleans, there seems to be a great fascination with the idea among the people I have spoken to so far. I am not expecting to become famous or anything like that. I am just doing whatever is within my heart... that's what it's all about anyway after all!

dancing is a great way to stay in shape and calms you down after a stressful day. i love to dance but ive got 2 left feet when im dancing in parties or clubs. thats why i choose to sit one down. when i dance i would just probably bob my head up and down and sway my hips left to right. hahaha.. aside from school plays which is a coreographed dance i think id prefer to sit down, i guess i havent found the right dance for me. but two years ago i took up a belly dancing class since the opportunity came before me. and i have always loved different dances from all over, i took the the chance to enroll. the dance was great, health wise it really keeps one fit. its a great cardio-vascular workout and helps one increase flexibility and strength. it also teaches you to isolate your muscles making them move indipendently. it was a blast. sadly i had to stop since they transferred to another place and it was too far from where i lived. i didnt want it to be my mission in life but something to divert my time to and help me keep fit. now i just buy a vcd and learn from there. hehehe... id love to learn ballroom dances as well, maybe when i get a lot more time to it

my dear seeing that nobody came and wrote a comment to my discussion about my favourite dance, the 19th century dances, I decided I could at least stop here and share my passion for dancing with you. I had lots of dancing lessons. I have been studying latin dances- bachata, salsa and merengue- for three or four years and then I discovered my present passion: the dances they used to dance in the 19 th century. It is amazing how funny it is and what a wonderful experience is dancing dressed in old fashioned gowns to the most famous music of those times..on Saturday there will be a Great Ball and I will wear my costume for the first time!!!
