Before 1959, tibet is under dalai lama's rule. The social status is following:
All the arable lands belongs to two groups. One is the rich theocratic lama and the other is rich secular landlords. Those land are serverd by nopaying serfs. Dalai mama is the largest landlord and serf owners with more than 25000 serfs(slaves). He owned their lives, their family, even their unborn child. dalai lama himself live in a 100room, 14 story palace while all those serfs own nothing.
Dalai lama had a monk army of more than 10000. They got the CIA support of money and weapon during the 1959 uprising.
The life expectancy of old tibetan is only 35-37 before 1959.
The infant fatality rate is more than 40% before 1959.
The illeteracy rate is more than 90% before 1959.
The population of tibet was about 1.2 Millsion in 1959.
There is no water, electricity, education system before 1959.
Now the tibetans enjoys a much better life.
the life expectancy is 68.
the infance fatality is 0.6 percent.
the illeteracy rate is 15%.
the population is about 5 -6 Million.
tibet people enjoy free water, electicity and education.

lol. there were no Dalai Lama's at that time, just Buddhist Teacher teaching Buddhism in different Buddhism schools.
1236-1354:
what your talking about was Drogon Chogyal Phagpa the state preceptor of Tibet SENT by Kublai Khan to administer Tibet. Drogon made an attempt to imposed Sakya hagemony (master and servant) and was affirmed by Khan and he made Drogon the Dishi(ruler) of Tibet. thus became Feudalism and enter YOUR POINT (the slavery in Tibet).
1500's:
start of the Dalai Lama lineage.

Are you embarrassed to support the biggest slave master in the world?
Are you embarrassed to support a dictator who can cut one arm/leg, gauge one eyes with a move of his lip?
Are you embarrassed to take away the land and belongs of 80% people and give them all to one person?
