it depends. actually it is not easy to categorize men and women as good friends. it depends upon the characteristic of all individuals. so always its not men who are more friendly.I have also seen competition between them.

ya some wht its easier but i have more friends tht are girls then guys. for me it really dosent make a difference, i'm very picky who i'm friends with. but its easier with guys cuz we dont think with our emotions tht much.

i think that it is like that with any girl to be honest iwht you because guys have always had this saying that all girls secretely hate each other and i really think that that saying is true...i mean i am a guy so i get along with either girl or guy...i mean i guess that i get a long with guys better because i am a guy but i also have a lot of women that are just friends with me so i guess that you are right becuas i have more in common with guy's then i do with girls... jhl930

Honestly, I used to feel this way when I was younger. In school, I was the girl with all the guy friends. I hated the color pink and still do. I only wear heels when I have to and rarely wear make-up. I am married, believe it or not. I now have more female friends. I have a lot in common with those women who are mothers and wives. Before that, I really had nothing to talk to them about. Now I did and still do have my 2 best friends who are female and we really enjoyed each others company. But when I was younger, guys seemed to make more sense to me while girls always fought over the guys. I always figured, "if he doesn't want me, so be it!"
