You are a good mom to care about your children so much. It is best to teach them the things you can and then to trust that they will be okay... I am remembering Little Crow's words, "You are the vehicle from which your children came...Yet you are not supposed to be the taxi cab parked outside of their house 24/7." Meaning, I think that they will have to meet the challenges of life and deal with them even if you make it so you think that they will be free of such experiences if it is needed for them to experience these in order to grow and develop...
I am remembering now that comfort, although it is desirable is not always the way we learn... Still I am joining you in wishing comfort, health and abundance of all that is good to your children and... I might add... to you as well.

It is good that you are so close to your family. I lost my mom when I was 30 and my father when I was 24 and am single... I am glad that my sisters and brothers though are close and get together sometimes.
I am sorry about that nasty habit of corporations not to pay workers as much as they are worth. I wish that were otherwise.
I am wishing you much success in your house purchase with your daughter.

i prefer not take those potion. i know its interesting to know our future but what should be then? don't if we make any changing at presents, it would be affected our futures? in my perception, i prefer to keep my future being mystery until the time come to my self

Your questions are valid... What would have happened if you did change things? surely you would then have a totally different life.
I like surprises and mysteries ... I am with you on this although if I could see only what I wanted to see, I would not mind seeing a little... grins... I would like to have it both ways. :)

yup, i also don't mind at all by seeing some grins in my life. thats the uniquely of life. if there is no sorrow in life then how could we able to feel about happiness? if everything going smoothly then where is the challenge which make us more quality in life?

You are totally right here... it is in experiencing the sadness of life that we do appreciate joy more... in surviving the bad times we gain strength enough to survive the Winter until the Spring comes again.

I would really love to know the future, not so much for winning money but more for the fact i've quit drinking and i would love to see if i manage to stay off it forever.
Also i would love to know if i will ever meet the right man and have my own family.
Mind you it would be nice to know if i'm ever going to be rich.

I remember the words of one of my old friends, my adopted brother and teacher, Little Crow. He kept clean and sober for over 25 years by saying one word, "later" ... Anytime he felt like drinking he would say "later" to himself and then he would look at something that he needed to do and he would say, "Do it now" and do that. He inspired many people to walk the same pathway.
I wish you much happiness in your journey of life... It is a good gift that you have given to yourself by helping your mind, your body and your spirit in soberiety.
Now, there is a chance that you will find the right man or even more true be the right, the good and sober, woman for a very good an kind man.
I wish you the abundance of everything that is good, especially contentment.

You are very smart in saying that... there are some who would, in error, put money first and then regret it.

I can understand about the lottery numbers! It is good to think about how things will affect the family. Some people don't think of things like that.

i will definitely not take that potion. if i see the future i will fully regret to live the present. and its better u should never know about the future for a good shake

So the knowledge of the future makes the present instead of only the past a matter for regret... I had never thought of it like this before.

No never, because I believe that what ever KARMA (KARMA means :the work done by us whether it is good OR bad) we do, according to that our future will be decided, if you do good in the present then you will be happy in the future vice-versa, I will tell you one example knowingly or un-knowingly if you touch fire then your finger will burn(this action is your present) then you have to suffer (this is your future).

So you just let what happens happen...
believing that you will experience the karma of the good and bad actions you have done...And you have no desire to know the future.
I sometimes have wondered about karma...
As some talk about doing things with detachment, believing that they are "not the doer" with the hope of escaping the karma of their actions or just have a focus on "doing ones duty" or dharma and trusting that all will then be well if they are not attached to outcomes... Wondering about your perspective on this.

Thank you for understanding the views and hope we always try to do good karma, some times we may void it but 90% you try to do good, if we can't help others in any way, but don't harm them, this is more better than helping them. In which place do you have friends in India, one of my friend from India is in USA, I am from Andhra Pradesh, take care.

though there are some challenges to knowing the future, i guess i'd like to take the risk. i would want to know the future... see if i turn out good, better, or worse... so i could do something about it now. not that i would sit and wait around if i see a good future.. but that would keep me going.. and looking forward to my "future". it will give me hope.

So for you, the knowledge of the future would be a good thing.

i think i sometimes think about it. it would have been nice if i could have learned that at what moment i can have those bad things. so i could have been more cautious. but I think it would make some hard work not that much fruitful. still i guess it would have been nice power to get.

So you sometimes would have like to have it to avoid making mistakes... but not always... You are aware that the mistakes played a part in your life and caused you to do hard work that bore good fruit in your life... You are most wise knowing that the bad things had their purpose.

I think I would like to know the future. :P However, perhaps it is quite frightening to take the magic potion or medicine.
But I would really like to know what would happen in the future, probably I would be able to anticipate it, if I couldn't change anything.

Ah so... you would like to know the future to prepare for it...
I can understand that view. :)
