Do you eat your Apples right down to the Core?

Or maybe you even eat the core itself?! When my son eats an apple he leaves so much around the core that you could eat it after him and still have half an apple. I always cut an apple up for him now, because that way at least he doesn't waste any. By comparison, my friend eats so much of her apple that there's just a little scrap of middle left, maybe just the stalk and pips. Now the first is wasteful, and the second is a bit yukky in my opinion, I don't want to eat all those chewy bits. So I'm somewhere in the middle. How about you?

Almost down to the core. I never eat too near the seeds.

That's me, if I don't cut them up. To be honest, I'd rather eat grapes or an orange to an apple though!

When I eat an apple, I will cut it up and eat it all except just the tough part of the core.

Cutting them up definately means that there's little wasted. My rabbits eat the cores so they're not really wasted anyway, but i'd hate my son to grow up thinking that it's OK to waste half of the fruit.

When I eat apples, I cut it into quarters and carve it in the middle to take out parts of the core. If a knife is not available, I eat apple just when I am about to reach the core where the seeds are. I don't want to bite into the core because it would be a bit messy having to spit out the hard parts in the core.

I think cutting it up is a really good option when eating apples. It saves wasting any.
