what is love ?

I dont think love is sacrifice anyone who loves you would not ask you to make any such thing, ive never made my partner sacrifice anything to be with me. I did have to move away from my family but I dont see that as a sacrifice I simply saw it as the next stage of my life and one that I wanted to do. I dont know if you can describe what love is as there are many different kinds how can you describe one thing that means different things to so many people. All I know is that when you love someone no matter who it is you will just know that you love them its as simple as that, love is what ever you want it be and what ever you want it to mean.

i disagree with some of the answers you have received. i think love is the most beautiful sentiment, if understood well. yes it involves a few sacrifices however they are beautiful sacrifices that one wishes to make happily when in love. Love is full of giving. dear friend only fall in love if yo are ready to be a giver and not a taker.

what is love..? it is one of the most difficult questions for mankind..centuries have passed by relationships have bloomed and so has love.But no one can give the proper defination of love u see.for some love is freindship set on fire and for some its luck..you have to go all the way to find it..no matter how u define it or feel it,love is the eternal truth in the history of mankind.. love is patient,love is kind..it has no envy,nor it boasts and is never proud..it rejoices over the evil and is a truth seeker,love protects,preserves and hopes for the positive aspect of life..u need to always stand steadfast in love and not fall into it..it is like the dream of ur matter coming true..love can occur between two or more individuals..it bonds them and connects them in a unified link of trust,intimacy and interdependence.it enhances the relationship and comforts the soul..Love should be experienced and not just felt.The depth of love cannot be measured..look at the relationship of a mother and child,the mother loves her child unconditionally and the love cannot be measured at all.a different dimension can be attained with the magic of love.. love can be created,you jus need to focus on the goodness of the other person,if this can be done easily you can also love easily,and remember we all have some positive aspect in us,no matter how bad our deeds may be and as GOD said "love all".
