Most of the politicians are unreliable,hypocratic and untruthful. " politics is the last resort of a scoundrel", thus go the saying.

You are so right..I am about to gag as I watch the News today..Hilary explaining why she has so much money and why she pays so little taxes..why they get so many tax cuts..
A week ago she bragged about how they made a heroic entry into a warzone and how their lives were in danger..was all lies!! She came out and admitted it.. How much of what she says is an exagerration?

No. I have seen none. Politicials are professional liars. I would not expect any truth from what they are saying. Not only American politicians, but the politicians all over the world are just the same. Better take care of our own than listen to liars. If there had been honest politicians, they must have been wiped out long before. The lying ones survived. That is the big truth. I wouldn't waste time and energy arguing around facts. I can manage my life much better if I can keep away from liars.

So worldwide Politicians are known liars..? Wow... I though only in America is such things going on ..but I guess Politicians have to say what others want to hear..but there is so much danger in lying too much..isnt there???

Ron Paul has spotless record, and is running for President but doesn't get anywhere as much attention, sadly.
I'm rather...addicted to the news in general, these days. It's become something of an obsession, I just feel like I have to know who's lying, about what, who's telling the truth, who's doing something that hurts freedom and who's trying to help the people.
There are some, but not many, this is true. The most vocal tend to be the most greedy. And even more yet, are clueless that anything is going on.
It's sad, but yeah..I can understand how it can be really hard to watch.

This is like asking if there are any politicians with three legs--no PERSON is 100% truthful, so why would you expect any politician to be?

You stole my thunder! I was about to post a discussion about candidates' lying and hypocrisy.
The one that stands out, at present, seems to be Hillary Clinton (Bush and Cheney aside). Everything out of her mouth is either shaded, misleading or just plain bull****.
There seems to be a standard of hypocrisy built into the system. Even my favorite legislators have said or done some indefensible crap and then tried to weasel or lie their way out of it.
Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a completely honest politician. If there is, he or she will be a one-term-only officeholder. The system is so toxic and vicious it'll eventually rip out a person's soul.
