I am a graduate now and I have my own computer in my lab.I can surfe on line any time I want. So,the problem appears,I alway forget the time when I am online, sometimes,I can stay in the lab until 11 o'clock in the evening.I told myself I shoule be self-conscious,I should use the online sources correctly rather than paly games or do something else. But I am alway not resistant to it.How about you, friends?

wow, there is no doubt that you are scolded. But if you spend most of time learning on the net,it doesn't matter,if you just do something except study,I suggest that you should manage you time.

frankly, to me, spend too long time on internet a day will make me giddy, sometimes feel sick, when this moment, I close my pc, go and find other things to refresh myself. no matter how many hours will stay on computer, I should agree with you that we need try to use computer more effectively, not just play games or do something which only waste our time.

Yes I seem to suffer from the same problem. I am on my lunch hour just now, and I've popped home to check my post and emails. Yet here I am logged on and posting opinions. I have to make a conscious effort to check the clock to see if I need to be somewhere, or doing something else. Sometimes I find other important things being forgotton or delayed due to time spent on the PC. I am also trying to cut down on gaming because before you know it the evening has gone, just like you say.
