Jealousy Between Friends

Hey. I have a group of friends since high school but each and every one of us ended up in different colleges. Recently, i was introduced to this girl, G, from one of my high school buddies, V. We have gotten pretty close and I think that my friend V is jealous. Whenever we're all hanging out she makes it a point to make me feel as if I shouldnt be there, as if G is her friend and her friend alone. I admit, I get really pissed off. Plus, I really like G and I know she likes hanging with me too. How do I tell my friend V to back off and that we're all friends. So whats with all the jealousy?

Ask her up front what the problem is you cant sort it until you know, if its just plain jealousy well thats tough on her really she has to learn to grow up and get over it. Friends are not personal property and shouldnt be treated as such.

Well,this may happen all the time!
Actually,for me,I will never ignore my old friends,mean while,I cannot stop making new friends! So, if my old friend is jealous of my new friend,I just let it go.No need to explain about it.And you will find it really works since once your old friend find out that you treat her just as you once did,then she will shut up and get used to it!

Boy would i like to be in your shoes.
I have friends (if they are actually freinds) that wouldnt care if you were there or not. But being as your situation i would have to go with locking em up in a empty room till they sort it out. or at least tell V in a firm voice (not angry, not happy) that they both are your freinds and you are equally shared.

It happens.In fact,I just introduced a friend,W, from my childhood playmates to another,M,who's been my classmate for 10 years.And they got closer and closer.In just a week,their relationship was closer than those I had with each of them,it seemed to me that M chose W over me,and it was sooo~ frustrating.But soon I found that it's not the case,the only problem is that I was thinking too much.I still take up a big part in their hearts.I hope that your friends will get over that silly thought ,and go on getting along well with you.
