When was the last time you spent time with just your child and their friend?

It was Prom on Saturday night so I took my daughter and her friend to get their nails done. No phones, nothing that had to be done just spend time with them. I spent most of the day laughing as they were filled with such energy and excitment. It made me feel full of energy and excitment. We did the whole nail thing and went shopping for make up and such. It was a grand day and I thought to myself that I really need to do this more often. It just made me feel so good. So when was the last time you spent a day with your child and their friend?

I spend many days with just my daughter, but not many where she brings a friend along. She is 7 and it isn't too easy to bring her friends with us when we go places.
Saturday I did take the two of the to family night at our church ~ we had dinner, played games and then made sundaes and sang songs. It was a fun time.
I look forward to the manicure/pedicure days with my daughter.

yesterday we spent the day hikking at least once a week as a family we take off to the mountains an go hikking or just a picnic or just a drive an all four of us just talk other then that i spend as much time with my girls as I can helping them with homework or them helping me with housework
