Jobs...WHERE ARE THEY???????

I have been unemployed more times than I can count because I have had to take 3-6 month contract jobs that never last more than that. I have had no insurance to speak of forever and now, after collecting unemployment for the last 6 months, it is now gone, no job to be found and soon, looking at being nowhere, with nothing...I always had a job before. When I graduated high school, I left my home town, moved to Connecticut, took a job with the same employer my older sister was with, she left, I stuck with them for 23 years...After that, it's been all down hill...I mean, the longest job after that, was a year's contract..once that was over, I was done..Now, I am pleading with places to give me a chance; I am 50 years old now, no home, no job...what the heck???
