How do you handle a difficult and moody friend?

Hi friends, I need your help on a problem. I've got this friend (we also work together). She is really very moody and difficult to get on with at times. I am a people pleaser and would do anything for anyone to keep them happy. This morning she ordered me (yes, Ordered!) to do something and I really felt that wasn't necessary. I didn't say anything, and did what she asked me. I'm very transparant and I'm sure that she realizes that I wasn't very happy about the whole situation, but now I'm upset and I can see that she is too. I don't know how to handle this now. We really get along just fine and we're going on holiday together one of these days. Should I just ignore what had happened and wait until she feels better again, or should I confront her and ask her why she acted the way she did? I hate the atmosphere at the moment and can't function properly. Please help??

That drives me crazy. I know alot of people like this. I mainly just stay away from them after a while because it gets on my nerves. I hate having to baby them or put up with their bad mood all of the time. I would defnitely confront her. I have let things go before and it kept happening again.
