In China, primary school students and their parents always search for study aids at bookstore. Many students turn to extra homework in order to excel in exams.
According to the news, only 16 percent of respondents believed their investments on education gave good returns.Even with a master's degree ,many of us failed to find a decent position in big companies.Things like these are gorgeous.
What's your idea about this?Do we have something in common or totally different?

Yes,even with a master's degree, we still failed to find a decent job!
This is totally true. However,if we don't do that investment, then we barely have any chance to find a good job;and if we tried,at least our chances are getting more.
Well, since I served in a law firm,I do believe that people hire you based on your abilities, and you can get a promotion based on your merits.
Well, this may not be true in other industries, but for me,capability is that matters!

Most parent in third world countries place a high value on education. In the US many parents are more concerned that their children are happy in school and feel good.
Many students go to college and take majors that they are interested in but do not lead to a career. Look at the Majors offered in many Universities: Women's Studies, Black Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Gay Studies, Area, Ethnic, Cultural, and Gender Studies, Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies, Philosophy and Religion, Hispanic-American Studies, African Studies, American Studies, Asian & Pacific Area Studies, European Studies, Latin American Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, Native American Studies, Islamic Studies, Judaism & Jewish Studies, Conflict Resolution/Peace and there are many more that are interesting but what can you do with such a major?
I have known several people who have taken such majors and they can not find jobs. They end up taking a job for which they are over qualified for and become very frustrated. You look at majors in Math, Science and engineering and they don't have enough people graduating to fill the jobs of the people retiring let alone add new jobs. Business hires graduates from over seas to work but they can only work for 3 years and have to return home. I have encourage my children to study a major that will lead to a career.
