do you like a lake or ocean more?

i prefer the lake. its because a lake is smaller and i can never get lost in it. the waves are smaller and the tides aren't that great/strong. while an ocean, it is so big and it seems endless and it seems scary because the waves might take me into the center and i would never ever find the land. ^__^;; and i had an experienced with a big waves before, it almost got me drowned. but in terms of beauty, i like the ocean more because its blue-green and a lot of beautiful creatures can be seen in it.

I like lake more as I think lake is cleaner than ocean as I always see rubbish floating~~~ Also, lake like a mirror if it is clean which is very beautiul.

i love the ocean. I grew up on the coast and have such fond beach memories. we go thee each year on vacation and my girls always have asked me why we don't move there. I stay put where I am becuz sometimes the dad's want to see them or visa versa...it is tough becuz most times the dads don't come thru but I do not wnat to be the one to make it hard on them .ok so i'm getting off subject...you did ask why. well t hat is why. I love the beach and miss it ,,,,so many memorys.

i think ocean for me...lake? im more terrified with it than to an ocean. i don't know i just feel that way..Im scared with it..

i like ocean more, they say it can heal some wounds in our body. it also make us more stronger resistance in sickness. thats why i want to go to ocean. i hope next week i can go here.

I love the ocean more. I love to watch the dolphins too. I like the sandy beaches also. We do not have an ocean in my state but I can travel to other places to see it. We do have lakes in my area. I love to sit on the beach in the sun.

I like the ocean - but I've mostly see the sun rise over the ocean. I love the smell, I like to hunt shells, I like to listen to the waves, in fact, about the only thing I don't like about the ocean is to swim in it - but probably because were I was on the shore the water was pretty cold!

Beach of an ocean is a great place for me..The humming noise of the waves and the singing breeze just waving you ..Its an experience...

I love the ocean! I think that's because I was born and raised in San Diego. I love the beach and looking out over the ocean. Watching all the wildlife. Sunsets are so beautiful. It can be bright and cheery or over cast and moody. I love it all.

I love to stand on the shore and watch the huge waves of the Pacific ocean come in and ride back out again leaving lacy foam on the sand and tons of pretty sea shells. It is so majestic the sounds the salty tang just being there and watching the water rush into shore and back out again. I love to watch the seagulls soar overhead and the terns wading way out to watch for fish. I love to see the Balboa fishing fleet rowing out in their small boats to catch fresh fish. It is just a treat to spend a few hours on the shores of my ocean the Pacific

i actually like both. yes the ocean is beautiful and it's really peaceful to walk along the beach or just lie on the sand. but the ocean can also be very dangerous with storms like hurricanes or tsunamis. lakes don't usually have those dangers, and you can still experience the peace being near the water.
