Well this is certainly a different story. I have just read on one of the BBC sites that a man in NZ hurled a hedgehog at a 15 yr old boy - I don't know why, no reason was given.
It unfortunately hit the boy leaving him with a red wealt and a couple of puncture marks on his leg.
They say that it is unclear whether the poor hedgehog was alive or dead when it was thrown!!!!!!!!!
The man has been arrested for assault with a weapon, namely the hedgehog. If convicted, he could face up to 5 yrs in prison.
What is your take on this? Do you think the man was cruel to throw the hedgehog? Should he be prosecuted? Here is the site if you wish to view it: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/7334233.stm

Yes I do think he was cruel to throw the hedgehog and I think it was cruel to aim it at the boy!
I am glad he was arrested and I do think he should serve time for it. Suppose the animal would have hit the boy in the eye, he would probably have lost an eye!
How Terrible. I don't care what the reason was, that is just terrible in any case!
