How do you react when a friend leaves you ?

I'm confused - this is a friend, not a significant other right? Then why can't they be friends with both of you? Does the fact that they have another friend somehow make them less of a friend to you?

Losing a friend is always painful and I wish you did not have to go through this. Sometimes as we go through life our needs change and the best friend we had at one age become more distant and we find we have less in common with as we grow. It sounds as though this is the case in your situation and although it is normal, that doesn't make the pain any less. My only suggestion would be to try to spend as much time around other friends and family. Their support will help you get through this difficult time, and you may find out that it was for the best that you and your friend parted ways.

but if else they leave u try to understand wht their problem is and again try to get back his friendship

I react very sad & sometimes ill cry for a best friend i am to leave him.

I guess it truly depends on the circumstances behind their leaving. If they left because of something I did I would feel truly sorry. If they left because they only wished to leave then I would probably take it in a good manner.
Also, it depends on the relationship me and this said "friend" had.

well, if one of my friends leaves me it only means that he/she a season who just cross in my life and seasons end, right?
