The Possessed Poet

I have no control can no more put down my keyboard or my pen than any addict could put away the needle I have no control can no more decide what I create with my words than any fire could decide what it burns I have no control am not myself, am not sentient nothing but a collection of words waiting to be arranged waiting to be created I will never be free. (So, this poem exists because today I put three new poems on my blog, and wrote a few more I'm not ready to share yet. And last night in my dreams everything spoken by anyone was poetry. As a side note PossessedPoet was one of the alternate screen names I used on the chat room where I met my husband.)

Yep...and poets.org sends me a poem everyday because of it, at least for this month. They should keep it up but who knows if they will! :)

Interesting piece you got there! It is nice. I like the way it screams at you. At how you are getting compulsive when the creative juices are flowing. Keep up the good work!
