First off the candle thing is supposed to be done with assistance when your having a problem with buildup & then only occasionally. Your not supposed to lay down , stick it in your ear, light it & take a nap. DUH
As for the others , they're stupid ideas to begin with.
For a teething baby get a cold pacifier & dab some baby oragel on it.
For light burns break off an aloe leaf & squeeze the oil onto the burn. It's the basis of many of the burn products.

Most of those I have never tried personally, although I have heard of them. The most often heard one out of those is whiskey on the babies teething gums. Definite no no in my book. I hadn't heard of one of them, which was the colloidal sliver. It has some bad side effects and irreversible damages. I am shocked that some would use this method.

I kind of disagree with the enema thing. Sometimes, people get so constipated that an enema is the only thing to do. Other times, enemas are necessary such as when you are going in for surgery.
