Cover Songs

Now we all know that a cover song maybe a excellent cover, or a bad cover. But do you like to listen to them? I personally do, since it gives the band or artist who is covering the song to place their own touch on the song.

i do sometimes,it depends on the song,and who covers it.in some cases it can improve the original, such as alice cooper's cover of "got a line on you" or type o negative doing "cinnamon girl".in both cases,i'd say it was definetly made more interesting.

Some covers are better then the originals I think. I would have to say the better then the originals for me would be "Over The Hills and Far Away" By Nightwish, "Aces High" By Arch Enemy, "God Of Thunder" By Iced Earth and "Cat Scratch Fever" By Pantera.

definetly. we have a cable station here that played the maiden cover the other day.as much as i like maiden...yea it was better.
