I have both but i prefer desktop because u can have more power at the same price, desktop is more personalizable and is easy change component for upgrade.

In those earlier days I liked only desktop so I bought myself the desktop which I am still using currently. The trouble is that I couldn’t bring along with me the desktop when spending my vacation at my relative house in the other state, or having personal business at outstation.
Nowadays I really envy those people who could still indulge in using their laptop even they are not staying at home or at office. I make up mind this time to get a brand new laptop after I have accumulated enough money.
posting and have a nice day.

I prefer to use laptop rather than a desktop, coz a laptop allows me to be mobile. I can use it anywhere I want to and get connected! :)

I have both laptop and desktop. I don't know even though I can bring laptop anywhere because its handy, I still prefer desktop. Maybe because I'm not fun of charging my laptop every 2 to 3 hours. Desktop is the best when updating to high-end parts like video cards, sound cards and other computer peripherals.

When at work I choose desktop. But when for personal use, I prefer laptop. I hope I could get one soon for me. Though I think its not possible this time so I will stick still to my old desktop at home.

I have to choice a desktop because they are more durable and you could spend with it a long span of time. And you could easily upgrade a desktop. Not like a laptop. A laptop, you could only used it in a little time span because it usually get hot. And you could not easily upgrade it.

I prefer my desktop for the upgradeability and the ability to play more games and do more things on it.
I prefer my laptop for its portability I like being able to take ti with me to my room to chat with my boyfriend...take it to work or even with me on an airplane.
I honestly will say i use my laptop more often as i take it with me almost everywhere.

Laptop atm.
I am using it a lot more than my desktop atm and the internet is better on it, because my desktop keeps disconnecting.

I love my laptop! I don't even use my desktop anymore. I disagree with desktops being easier to upgrade. I upgraded the ram in my aunt's laptop, I had to remove to little screws and just snap in the new ram, then put the two screws back in. No cables to unplug, just had to remove the battery!

It all depends on the application. If you need performance, upgradability and a more reasonable price, desktop is the way to go. However, some people need portability and that can be best provided by a laptop. The plan that I want to put into motion is to have one of each. I already have a good desktop so I'm thinking of getting an old laptop second hand.

I have a desktop right now, but I hope to get a laptop, since open space is hard to find in the room where the desktop is. and plus I have always wanted a laptop. But when I get my new one it will probably be just a regular desktop.

I prefer to buy desktop because desktop are very cheap rather than laptop. other that, if have some broken in laptop, very expansive to repair. For example my friend their screen laptop broken he must pay 1000 thousand to repair but in desktop some problem can solve in 50 ringgit.Other than that, desktop so easy to upgade and modified certain part in control processing unit ( cpu ) but in latopt quite expansive. so suggest to buy desktop.

I will try to make a category of +/- for both of them.
Laptop +
mobility, less possible un compatibility of hardware that is inside, you can work on it everywhere where you dont have power source (battery), great tool for presentation, space requirements (laptop size etc)
Laptop -
price ( you can buy stronger comfig for desktop for the same price). battery autonomy, performance in games and some pro aplications (most of them). expensive spare parts if broken, upgrading with new cpu, vga is complicated in most cases not even possible
Desktop PC +
price, game performance (depends on configuration), not having problems like doing critical work and then pops on screen LOW BATTERY you will not see this on desktop pc. easy to upgrade with new cpu, vga. ram ect.. Most opposite to laptop -.
Desktop PC -
space requirements, mobility, possibility of non hardware compatibility (some times in order to upgrade your PC with newer CPU, you will need to upgrade the MBO software (bios flash) in order to work properly. If not having UPS system power supply turn off your PC during Storms, storms can easy damage your Desktop PC trough power supply if hit with thunder ( had that problem twice, thunder hit the house and lots of electric devices burned including Desktop PC) This last - is for all electric devices not just for desktop pc,
