Different languages would lie in the way when you enjoy the literature?

I am a Chinese.Sometimes I read the books that translating Chinese into English.I felt that it is not as beautiful as it is.But why?

Are you meaning the literature you are reading is not as beautiful in the translation or not as beautiful in the original, it is good that you are trying both any way but it would be good that you enjoy it...
