how to choice good landscape for photograph

I pick locations to shoot based on where I've taken photos before, recommendations from other photographers, places I've seen other photos taken, or places that are convenient. Most often I will just grab my camera, walk out my front door and walk around my neighborhood taking pictures of interesting things I see. Parks are also a great place to take pictures. There are people you can take pictures of, wildlife, landscapes, scenic views, floral and plantlife... a wide variety of subject matter!
