If your mother or father died would you try to resurrect them from the dead?

This one is far out and eye catching for me. I was reading todays news paper and the front line page had on it, a family tried to resurrect their mother from the dead. It took them nine days to try and see if she would come to life by praying and fasting. After having her body in the house for so long the neighbours call the police because, of the bad odour coming from the appartment. When the police arrived at the house, they met a 85 year old woman, lying in her bed badly decomposed. They question the family to find out why they didn't report her death and her children said, they was trying to pray and bring her back to life but, she never came around after nine days.
